I was sent to this dr by referral after suffering with a post Covid syndrome, nearly one year prior to my appt. My Covid was severe which almost killed me. Spent a total of 2 minuets with me, gave me the name of a drug and told me to have my family doctor prescribe it for me as well as some blood work. What kind of doctor will not write his own prescriptions or order blood work? He took no time to tell me what he thought was wrong with me, or address my pain issues. My pain Doctor told me that I fave Fibromyalgia and prescribed Lyrica, but before I could even finish the sentence he told me no you dont. No test or anything. I have been seeing Dr Desai for 4 years. He has always been thorough. I give him all the credit for identifying and controlling my RA. I cant even imagine what sort of state I would be in if I hadn't gone to see him. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Desai does not like to have a lot of medicaid pts b/c he doesn't make as much off of them as he would a private pay pt.
