I will preface this by saying that I have a lot of dental trauma that kept me out of a dental office for literal years. I was nervous in the beginning obviously, but I had been told good things so I went to my first scheduled appointment as a new patient. The staff was friendly and the paperwork they gave me put a lot of emphasis on understanding dental fears, which also helped.
