Visited Dr R today with an issue that could have had either a basic solution or serious complications if misdiagnosed. She wanted to do a basic surgical procedure in the office. I voiced my concerns about the recommendation and asked to see a surgeon or dermatologist instead. She proceeded to berate me until I consented to the procedure. Suffered for several months before the proper and basic tests were ordered by Dr. R, which found the real issue. Don't let her be non-aggressive, be your own advocate. This practices has a history of delayed diagnosis's. And be prepared to see pictures of her family and hear all about them.
Dr. Rauenzahn sees both myself, my daughter and my husband. She has always taken excellent care of all three of us. She listens patiently, asks appropriate questions and always answers ours. She has always treated us with respect, kindness and compassion.
I saw Dr. Rauenzahn 12/14/2016 she was personable and very knowledgeable asked good questions. She took time to diagnose my problem. I would highly recommend her.
I've gone a few times to see her and she is always incredibly rude, condescending, and impatient. She acted as though my concerns about my health were either all in my head or made up. When she used medical terms I was unfamiliar with and asked for clarification she reiterated the same exact thing in hardly different wording that didn't make it easier to understand at all. I felt incredibly uncomfortable talking to her about anything and being examined by her.
Wonderful, easy to speak with! My first time with this practice and I was nervous! She was excellent!
