I have had an awful experience at this place from the beginning. I’ve only met the doctor twice and she’s very rude and made me feel uncomfortable at a very sensitive time for me. Every other time I’ve been in I’ve seen nurses and they are not very informative so I never know what is going on. I always have to wait the 4 weeks to my next appointment to get any tests results unless I want to call multiple times. I arrived for my 10 A.M. appointment at 9:42 and one lady was there 2 minutes before me that had a 10:30 am appointment and she was called before me so I went to the counter to ask why and they said because she was there first….. I said to them they should’ve told me it’s first come first serve and I would’ve been there earlier and the nurse practitioner said she’s not seeing me because my attitude stinks! How unprofessional! I have been seeing Dr. Hawkins for years and have established a good relationship. She always asks about my concerns and will order labs across the board if I ask for them. Labs are done in office, no need to go elsewhere. Wait times vary and the practice runs efficiently.

I was referred by my primary doctor to dr Hawkins. I am very upset had an appointment today with Dr. Hawkins but did not get seen by her it was the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner was not very helpful and couldn’t explain my results to me. I left from there confused and told her I didn’t understand her. I paid for the doctors visit and didn’t even get the proper exam/visit. Next time y’all need to explain to patients that the actual Doctor is not available and we’ll be seen by a practitioner.
