My mom has had Hendrick as a doctor longer than I've been alive (I'm 32 and he was my pediatrician). She has had a sore in her mouth for a few months and went to him for answers. She was/is having pain and concerned it could be cancer. Hendrick said it's not cancer because "cancer doesn't cause pain". He did a culture and it came back negative for anything. Never believed in me as a patient and finding out what was wrong with me. Tried to blame my health on depression, anxiety. Years later, I had an eight hour operation in my abdominal area to fix his oversight. I use to be in so much abdominal pain. We would call his office and were told there was nothing he could do. After 20+ trips to the ER, I found a different doctor who cared.
Dr Kim Hendrick has been my family doctor for over forty years now. He has always been friendly, professional and willing to listen and wait times are usually reasonable. His diagnosis and treatments have been spot and without forcing unnecessary testing. He doctors without preaching and is willing to accommodate me or give me valid reasons on why he doesn’t recommend ideas I have put forth. His staff is friendly and competent. There is no medical professional I trust more than Dr Hendrick.
