Dr. Rahman has been my mother's neurologist for over thirty years. During the many years of caring for my mother, he was extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I was my mother's caregiver for 22 years and he listened attentively to my concerns about my mother and gave me sound advice when needed. I will always be grateful for his care of my mother. I highly recommend his professional services.
I met Dr. Rahman for the first time for an initial to establish him as my new neurologist due to relocation. I found him to be like a neurologist is in character. He appeared to be very intelligent and asked me questions appropriate to my history. He did not have my medical records; despite my request 2 months prior to his visit so he really couldn't do anything. He found a suggestion however that my other neurologist missed who was outstanding in his care. I think he is going to be able to help me and work well with my new ... read more
When Dr. Rahman was my neurologist, he suggested having a sleep study. During the study, I was having a difficult time falling asleep, due to being in a room next to the nurses station. At some point, a nurse entered and asked if I would like something to help me sleep. I later found she gave me Ativan. At my next appointment, Dr. Rahman was reviewing my sleep study and noticed I used Ativan to help calm my thought. So he wrote me a prescription for the use of nightly Ativan. That was about 10 years ago. I am working with my... read more
I have been battling Migraines since 6 years old and have recently been worked up by Dr. Rahman. I saw him 3 months ago to establish care. He had provided with medication and a headache log to track my frequency of migraines. At my second visit a month ago i showed him the log, which he disregarded. I advised him that the medicine wasn't working and He upped my medicine and sent me on my way. Over the next month i have been in and out of work with 3-4 migraines weekly. I contacted him to ask for an MRI to be ordered as i suf... read more
What visit? We had freezing rain snow, sleet, and ice for 2 days. There was an accident on the highway. I had a 7 am appointment. I called the answering service to let them know I would be approx 10 mins late. I was 13 minutes late and he wouldn’t see me. This doctor has zero compassion or empathy for patients.
I have been seeing Dr. Rahman for over 20 years. Very thorough. Does not rush and spends quality time with you.
Decent neurologist but outright LIED about willingness to fill out forms for disability. If it was only me who heard him I might’ve questioned my hearing but two others confirmed his statements. On that basis, I would NOT recommend him.
The exam was completely rushed. He seemed at first like he was listening, but at the end of the appointment, he wouldn't make a follow-up and acted like he couldn't be bothered to find out what was wrong with me. Very disappointing.
