I would not recommend Dr. Sam Khalili and his practice. I was supposed to do sinus surgery with him. After spending more than $4,000 in pre-op visits and tests, my surgery was canceled day before due to denial by insurance. They appealed twice and finally went to a state adjudicator where the decision was in favor of the insurance company. After this, I could not get a call back from the office. After my initial appointment that had a room full of his "people", I had a follow-up scheduled and he cancelled. Rescheduled for a video conference, got a prescription and scheduled a follow-up. He cancelled again. Apparently, he's a good surgeon. My treatment so far has been medicinal, so that might be why he's been blowing me off. I'm looking for someone else.
I've been trying to find out how to leave this review for 2 months. Horrible experience. He brings a whole team in the room without your consent. He asked embarrassing questions that you may not want to tell a whole team. He prescribed me some medication for acid reflux when I particularly told him about tonsils stones and mucus build up. He refused to do an allergy panel to see what the root of my problem is. He basically got paid to guess. Earliest appointment was 4 months out from when my initial symptoms showed, the day of the appointment I was still experiencing the symptoms and they had me wait 30 minutes, when asked how much longer I would have to wait they gave an approximation of another 10 minutes. NEVER trust doctors to honor their time windows, especially specialists, this is incredibly unprofessional and should be grounds for disciplinary action. Dr Khalili has been a blessing for our family, the care he has been giving to my grandma and the support to our family during this difficult times has been extraordinary.
