We were referred to Dr. Yu by our PCP. Unfortunately, from the start, we felt the visit was very rushed. The nurse, doctor, and checkout staff all seemed focused on moving patients in and out quickly. When seeing a neurologist or any specialist, we expect our questions and concerns to be fully heard and addressed. When an EEG was recommended, we clearly informed the staff that the patient has a semi-permanent hairpiece. We were assured that this would not be an issue. Only because I can't give a cero. As a working mom I have lots of things to do. Unfortunately I made an appointment in November and had to cancel, then made another one in January and couldn't go. For both appointments I let them know ahead of time. THEY NEVER MENTIONED THAT IF WE CANCEL THEY WON'T SEE YOU EVER AGAIN. They failed to disclose that and if I would have known, probably I would have never made an appointment. Not flexible at all. They need to disclose this ahead of time.
Arrogant and rude does not even begin to describe how he treated me last week. He should not even practice if he hate people who are not asian. He made me very uncomfortable by making a comment that was very prejudice by saying "oh all of us asians look alike". WOW! I am biracial so his comment was hurtful. When I went in for a injection in shoulder he told me if I didnt help him by not moving because of the pain or STOP crying or he was going to cancel my appt. REALLY!
