I would not recommend Dr. Stitely to anyone. He performed sigmoidectomy that failed. I nearly died and had to have an emergency colostomy and was hospitalized for an additional 3 weeks. I understand that this procedure does have a small failure rate; I don't fault him for the failure. But after bragging that he could count on one hand the number of failures he'd had and still have fingers left over, it doesn't help knowing that I'm on his hand now. He was amazing! And followed up to make sure that I was doing well
Very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. I have used him twice (unrelated surgeries) and should I need a general surgeon again, he will be my first choice.
My wife had a total thyroidectomy. Her goiter was huge. He kept her incision as small as possible and explained everything to us. We had absolute faith in him and his work, and he didn't disappoint. I would recommend him to anyone!!! Thanks Dr. Stitley and crew for giving my wife a new start at life!!
