My doctor referred me to Dr Desai after pain and an abnormal ultrasound of my leg. Dr Desai’s staff said the wouldn’t schedule an appt because there were any test results or diagnostic tests in my chart. I told them I just left the Drs office. They informed me that the Dr does not see patients with pain, he only sees surgical cases and I would need to go to my primary to get a full work up showing the diagnosis and need for surgery before o could make an appointment. By recommendation of our nurse practitioner, I saw Dr. Desai for vein pain and phlebitis follow up. I enjoyed his nurse's personality, but Dr Desai had almost none. He spent about 5-10 minutes interacting with me, hearing my symptoms, to which he replied, "Well, I'm not sure what you want me to do about this."
