I gave my insurance over the phone to schedule a consult. Drove 2 hours to and at the consultation, they SCANNED my insurance card. Fast forward 3 WEEKS later, not one full week before said surgery, the hospital called to tell me what time to be there and "By the way, did you realize this will be OUT OF POCKET since this doctor does not take your insurance?" It is too late to cancel the hotel room I paid for, so I am out $150 PLUS GAS to drive 2 hours to consultation. I have tried FIVE TIMES to cancel this surgery. Central s... read more
Dr Pihl is a compassionate, caring surgeon. He takes time with you and answers all your questions. He has done all four of my procedures to-date and I wouldn't chose anyone else.
Dr. Pihl is an amazing Surgeon. He has performed two surgeries on me and without complication. He is calm, patient and informative. He is also just a really great person. I trust him!
I had a Seroma from a double Hernia operation, it was like I had a surgically implanted Golf Ball. Dr. that performed Hernia Surgery refused to remove Seroma 😡 I had to deal with the Seroma for a year and had a challenging time finding a Surgeon that was willing to remove it. I can’t express how thankful I am to have found Dr. Pihl and him removing my Seroma for good!
I had Dr. Pihl for hernia surgery. Although this isn't a fun surgery at all, he took great care in explaining it and handling my surgery and follow up. Highly recommend
