I went to Dr Sands to remove a kidney stone. I’ve had multiple stones before with no issues when using the lithotripsy method to bust up the stones. They would turn to sand and I could pass without pain. He initially disagreed to use that method and wanted to use laser. I called my old urologist in Georgia and he recommended to stay w the lithotripsy because it is less invasive to my body as a whole.
