I went to this clinic mainly because it’s close by in Montclair. When I got there, everything looked old and smelled like mold — everything looked outdated but I told myself that didn’t matter as long as the doctor was good. Unfortunately, my experience with the dentist was extremely frustrating. I told him I have anxiety about dental work, and during my appointment I clearly said that my filling felt too high. Very understanding. If you question anything, he slows down and listens very carefully. It is rare for a doctor to be this genuinely thoughtful and flexible. I love this place. Particularly how his office has his brother’s headshot pictures of various movie stars.
We found one of the best Dentists in Oakland. Always a great experience. Dr. Childers and staff are welcoming, supportive, caring, nonjudgmental and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Childers is a true gem of the Bay Area. Highly recommend.
