Dr. Ney was very informative and took the time to answer all of our questions. Great bedside manner.
Where to begin! Upon arrival the nurse prepped my testicles and put the blue paper around them, the doctor came to take a look and left the door wide open when he left... in the mean time 15 people walked by the room staff and patients. Then in the surgery he invited my wife to watch, he was joking with her and literally not looking at the surgery to where I had to say "hey, eyes on the prize!" A year and half later my wife got pregnant... his nurse was really rude to me and told me my insurance wouldn't cover the second sur... read more
Made no effort to find best solution to my problem. Didn’t give a full exam and jumps to pills with out listening to patient. Very cavalier attitude is a instant turn off. Will not return for follow up, going some were else.
Dr. Ney did my cancerous bladder polyp removal 8/2020 at the Naab Road Surgery Center. I am very pleased. He has communicated well with me and I am very grateful to have met him and to have him as my doc. I plan on doing exactly what he tells me to do. He also has been very good at educating my wife and me regarding this bladder cancer.
I found Dr. Ney to be wonderful. We first met in the St. V's (96th St.) Indy emergency room at 5am where he had to use a scope to "cath" me. Dr. Ney then called my daughter, in Denver, right after my surgery giving her a full update. Since then, after 2+ months on an anchored cath--I had TURP surgery and now -- I am "cath" free, voiding pretty much normally & I am sexually active. I feel like Dr. Ney has turned my life around. I don't want a lot of blah, blah, blah. Just the facts--and Dr. Ney gives you just that. I am stunn... read more
A very poor communication and follow up . I had to find a new urologist, who has provided a personable and the highest level of care.
Dr. Ney provides exceptional care. Not only does he give me comfort that I am getting best-in-class care, I can tell that he cares about me, personally. I so appreciate his “bedside” manner and the way he really listens to me as we make decisions together regarding my care.
I had a Radical Prostectomy performed by Dr Ney two months ago. I was very happy with the results. My pain was relatively mild and I was able to return to golf at 2.5 weeks. Contrary to other reviews on this website, I have found Dr Ney and his staff thorough and very professional.
There are a lot of urologists in Central Indiana - find another one. He is rude, condescending, uninformative, and seems only interested in the almighty dollar. Told my husband that a scan showed his cancer had spread to his bones and he needed another scan. After a month of imaging the worst, we were told that, oops, he'd been looking at the wrong scan. No apology and we're on the hook financially for this latest, and unnecessary scan. And don't even get me started on his staff.
