This is one "doctor" that is in the wrong line of work.
I just moved here. Dr. Harshbarger had all of my records from my previous neurologist & internalist. He did not listen to me, told me that my previous specialists did not treat my illnesses correctly, & now wants to send me to yet another specialist! Then he "diagnosed" me as fatigued... He is pompous & arrogant... I won't be returning. He cares about everything but his patients welfare.
The front office staff and nurses at this office are rude and unprofessional!!! Have had several problems with a nurse named Heidi. Avoid her at all costs. I work at a doctors office and if I treated people the way the staff here does, I would get fired. I am currently looking for a new PCP. I would NOT refer anyone to this practice!!!
I'm not very happy with his actual interest in diagnosing the problem. I've gone a few times and he's never in the room for more than 2-3 minutes. I will be finding a new doctor.
Dr Harshbarger has a poor bedside manner to say the least. Has prescribed me medicine that I am allergic to the kicker to that (which can happen) When I called the nurse to let her know I was in abdominal pain and vomiting I was told to keep taking the medicine that it would get better! This doctor only cares about his bottom line and over books daily. Only takes same day appointments so if you are not awake at 8:00 am you will never get an appointment. POOR BEDSIDE MANNER. VERY VERY UNCARING. HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN EAR INFECTION WANTED TO ASK ABOUT MY BLOOD PRESSURE, HE SAID THAT WAS DOUBLE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT, I HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN EAR INFECTION.
Dr. Harshbarger is quick to decid and negligent at best He should be found guilty for posing as a MD! don't waste your time with this Doc. spend 20 min. more driving time and you will get better care.
I've actually never had any problems with this doctor. Which is odd considering the area I live in. Everyone else has always been crap. Now if only there was a way to rate the horridness of Wayne Hospital... Anyway, Dr. Harshbarger took care of my problems. I told him what was wrong, and he did what he could. I think a lot of people want to get more drugs than they need for things and when a doctor doesn't feed their habit, they cry about it.
Does not listen to what you say is wrong with you.Is very unfriendly. Doesn't want to treat aptients, just wants to collect your money.
