I've lived with back pain for over 50 years. As I've aged it's gotten progressively worse. I went through Physical Therapy and many back injections. I wanted the problem fixed, not just patched so I started searching for a surgeon. Since I knew my spinal cord was involved, I wanted the BEST. My search led me to Dr. Crandall. As I knew, he explained there are no guarantees with surgery. He told me I can expect 50-70 % improvement, but again, no guarantees. Dr. Crandall and his staff did a super amazing job on my back surgery as did all the nurses and tech workers and physical therapy workers Thank you all so much I would recommend this team and hospital to my friends and family again Thank You

When I first met with Dr Crandall, I could barely walk because of the pain in my lower back. After examining me Dr Crandall thought my neck was part of the problem, MRIs, CTs and x-rays proved him right. In June he operated on both my lower back and my neck. I am mostly pain-free since that time.Dr Crandall is a wonderful surgeon but he is more than that. Can’t say enough good things about Dr Crandall. I came to him after decades of suffering with severe spinal stenosis (L4-5) and nerve pain. Once I started with some neurological problems like drop foot , weakness and numbness in my legs, I knew it was time for surgical intervention. I did a tremendous amount of research and am so glad I found and chose him as my surgeon.
