I've lived with back pain for over 50 years. As I've aged it's gotten progressively worse. I went through Physical Therapy and many back injections. I wanted the problem fixed, not just patched so I started searching for a surgeon. Since I knew my spinal cord was involved, I wanted the BEST. My search led me to Dr. Crandall. When I first met with Dr Crandall, I could barely walk because of the pain in my lower back. After examining me Dr Crandall thought my neck was part of the problem, MRIs, CTs and x-rays proved him right. In June he operated on both my lower back and my neck. Can’t say enough good things about Dr Crandall. I came to him after decades of suffering with severe spinal stenosis (L4-5) and nerve pain. Once I started with some neurological problems like drop foot , weakness and numbness in my legs, I knew it was time for surgical intervention.
