Dr. Sassower is truly the best doctor I have ever had. I have a chronic sleep disorder and have been to many doctors all of which acknowledged my sleep issues and put me on a medication without conversing or having a true understanding of my sleep issue. Best of luck trying to get an appointment. I tried for a month, doing everything asked of me, with no success. I'll change my review if they let me in the door and I can actually experience care. So far, I've only experienced a firmly closed door.
Dr. Sassower isn't just brilliant, thorough, and doggedly persistent - he is the kindest, most genuinely caring physician I have ever encountered. I had not been able to sleep in a way approaching normal my entire life, had more (fruitless) consults with sleep disorder experts up and down the East coast than I can count, and enough sleep studies to have been able to wire myself up, if necessary, when I saw Dr. Sassower.
