I had an extremely uncomfortable and disheartening experience. Dr. Schaefer's demeanor during our interaction was deeply troubling. He displayed a complete lack of empathy and professionalism, coming across as a narcissist with a god complex, speaking to his patients as if they were beneath him. I, a Hispanic woman, was made to feel less than, talked down to and had my medical concerns dismissed. No one, regardless of their background, should be subjected to such treatment from a medical professional.

Dr. Schaefer her been my primary care for many years and I am extremely happy with his bedside manner and extensive and up to date knowledge. I highly recommend him.

I made a first-time appointment for weight and hair loss and had him check me for autoimmune illness because it runs in my family. My ANA was positive and also sjogrens (autoimmune disease) seemed to be positive as well. Since I’m not sure what these tests mean I messaged him. His answer was nothing appears to be wrong. He would not answer any of my questions. Said that if I had continued symptoms I should see him again.
