Would not recommend him. He has a very cavalier attitude. I spent 30 days in hospital due to that attitude for a simple hernia repair.
After being in the ER 3 times in a week, Dr. Glavan wouldn't do my gallbladder surgery until he saw me in his office. So I waited 2 weeks in extreme pain for the first available appointment, and when I finally got to see him, he spent approximately 3 minutes with me in the exam room and didn't even examine me. On two separate occasions post-op he said he would call in medications for me but didn't follow through, leaving me in pain and unable to sleep. He seems to care very little about patients
I would not recommend this doctor. He only spent about 6 minutes with me and never did a full exam. About a week before surgery I found some new lumps near the bladder area and called the office and was told that would go away after surgery. On the day of surgery I showed it to the doc and he said it was 2 more hernias. He would have caught that in the office had he looked!!!! He wasn't able to take care of them at that time and I have Emphysema and can't tolerate another surgery.
