I was terrified I was never going to walk properly again after a LisFranc fracture. Two surgeries by Dr Unger and not only am I walking, but I am pain free!!! Sure I swell up sometimes (planes/over use). But from what I understand from another podiatrist it is a miracle I don’t have daily pain!! Yes his bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen... but his surgical skill is a gift!!! I wanted to be referred to someone else when I read the reviews... so glad I didn’t!!!! I drove over 2 hours from Red Deer to not see this Dr.. I followed google maps which had me go through a construction zone that made me 10 minutes late, when I arrived I was told that I would need to reschedule as he is completely booked. I tried calling twice to let them know I was stuck in construction, never was able speak to anyone. The lack of understanding and empathy for my situation was never even acknowledged.
