Dr. B has been my doc since around 2005. He takes more time with me than prior doctors. We tend to talk more about life in general than doctor stuff, which is important in assessing a patient's overall health (mental, etc.). I know that he has a large patient load, so if you're looking for a new doctor, I wouldn't hold out hope.
Couldn’t ask for a better caring and thorough Doctor . He saved my life.
I also called the office to get an appointment and was told the doctor would have to accept me as a patient. I think he doesn’t like 70 yo with chronic pain issues. At least they called back two weeks later to say I wasn’t accepted. So he cherry picks the easy cases. Real nice guy. I wonder if Marshall Hospital is aware of this guys behavior. Shame on him. That’s just wrong. Why are doctors like this? Who the hell do they think the are?
Good Doctor, follows up on everything. Very little wait time. Urgent appt same day usually. Allows patient time to discuss EVERYTHING patient saying. Very thorough
I wanted to establish myself as a patient of Dr. Boston. His office staff interviewed me when I called to make appt. They said Dr. Boston would have to decide if he could take me as a patient and they would call me back...have not heard back...I have no health issues so I am not sure why they had to "decide" if he would take me as a patient.....If I hear back now, there is no way I would entrust him with my care.
Dr. Boston "fired" my father as a patient after 20 years, giving him some vague excuse that sounded like they were no longer compatible. My father is 86 years old. The doctor was urging my father to have open heart surgery. My father was not comfortable with that and refused the surgery. At his next appointment, the doctor's nurse handed him a letter and his files telling him to find a new doctor. I wonder how easy that will be at his age. I find this completely unprofessional.
