Dr. Scharf is an absolutely useless doctor with quite possibly the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. For someone who studies ears, nose, and throat he does a lot of “matter of fact” talking over you and doesn’t listen worth a damn! When you describe your issue clearly, have to repeat yourself, keep insisting it’s a problem and it’s causing you issues in your daily life AND THEN have to keep INSISTING on getting the referral to another specialist HE RECOMMENDED…. I thank God I got to Dr Sharf when I did. My issues are very serious and he diagnosed me correctly very quickly and referred me to Somme of the best doctors in Michigan for my issues that were out of the realm of what he does. I have major issues that will take months to repair but at least I have a chance now. Without Dr Sharf I don’t think I would be alive today!! Thank you Dr Sharf. The new doctors you referred me to are very aggressively treating me. I will keep you posted through my progress!
I couldn’t breath out my left nostril for years and it got worse and worse. I was experiencing post nasal drip constantly, constant sinus pressure and pain, and constant leaking out my left nostril. My doctor said it was a deviated septum, an easy fix. So I made an appointment with Dr. Scharf. Dr. Scharf gaslighted me, told me what I was experiencing was perfectly normal and people live with such complications all the time. Great Dr, He made me feel very comfortable and I have bad anxiety about hospitals even more with covid. I would recommend him to everyone and he will continue to be my go to for all ENT.
