My total right knee replacement is a great success! I am now preparing for my left one. I fought Dr. Bortnem to be very personable and an excellent surgeon. I will continue to recommend him to anyone that needs a "new" knee!!! Barbara Dutro

Dr Bortnem did a scope and repair of my knee one year ago. I found him to be respectful and understanding, cant say anything bad. I need that knee replaced now and will be contacting him again for the surgery this fall.
I will never go to Dr. Bortnem again. After I had already made the mistake of having him work on my elderly mother's knee, another previous patient gave me some good advice. "Never have Keith operate on you after lunch, because he will have drank during his lunch hour and is more likely to do a bad job with surgery." Unbelievable, this man needs to be fired. Reading the other reviews, I cannot still believe that he is licensed to do surgery.
