Dr. Waguespack was kind and professional. He also carries himself with a calm, quiet confidence, which I think would put most at ease. He's good at explaining everything in detail, and I appreciated that about him This was my first ever visit to a Urologist and also my 1st major surgery (he was also my surgeon). His staff are great and the hospital which he operated on me out of (USMD) were fantastic. The fact that I had a surgery performed by a robot controlled by him just blows my mind. Im am a R&D Biochemist. So I am familiar with many scientific concepts. My primary Dr. referred me to Dr. Waguespack for my kidney surgery because he is highly skilled and extremely experienced using the DaVinci robotics surgical assist system. His knowledge and success rate gave me a high level of confidence. I am very lucky to have met him. My surgical outcome was excellent. I recommend him 100%.
He is an excellent surgeon but, my husband and I got a taste of his bedside manner. He was not good or even courteous with us this last visit even though I insisted we see him and not his PA. We won't be returning to see him.
