I had my PAO surgery from Dr Mayo back in 2008. I was 21 at the time. I saw multiple doctors in my home town from a very well respected hospital, all of whom reassured me that they could help..yet it was still very painful for me to walk even after multiple surgeries. Dr Mayo is straight up. He doesn’t sugar coat..and he has extensive knowledge and experience, which to me is far more important than having good bedside manners.
