I was referred to Dr Sam three weeks ago, not only did they take 2 weeks to follow up but then they refused to schedule me. I called every weekday several times for a week and kept getting an answering service that could not schedule me or provide any guidance for scheduling. After over 20 calls and messages left, giving them my work schedule to see if they could call when I was able to pick up. Doctor Kathy Sam is a horrible, uncaring, unsympathetic, lacking compassion oncologist. Lost my brother to cancer this week, she didn’t care. She was not invested in his care at all! We wish our brother had obtained a different oncologist. I’m convinced if he had, he would still be with us. This doctor never listened to him or his concerns. She moved at a snails pace and had no interesting in taking the necessary steps that could lead to remission for my brother. I don’t recommend Kathy Sam I never saw this doctor until she had bad news or lies. I just found out I was tested and was never made aware of the results. I won’t take my dead dog this doctor. The treatment that I had for my Triple Negative Breast Cancer was less than professional she always had an attitude or a poor bedside manner. I am so unclear about my diagnosis I don’t know if I am in remission or not. My appointment was scheduled nearly two months ago. I never got a reminder text or a courtesy confirmation call(was told the system was down). I missed my appointment and I have to reschedule now probably for months out. Its not like on the 1st visit I would have got an iron infusion now to reschedule for the 1st visit only to have to book again. I got my appointment rebooked sooner than the couple of months it took. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to any patient and specifically cancer patients. She had a horrible bed side manner and she is unreliable with her scheduling and appointments. I called to reschedule an appointment and her nurse tells me that Kathy Sam doesn’t wish to see me any more. Thanks to her I am behind on multiple of my cancer meds.
