At first, I was upset that I wasn't able to get my father in earlier to see Dr. Karamlou. After meeting with her, however, I totally understand. She takes her time to really understand what is going with each and every patient. She never made us feel rushed and seemed truly interested in figuring out what was going on and how to best treat it. She took incredibly good care of my father. So much so that when we move to LA, I am still going to make the hour+ drive each way to have her treat my dad. She was well worth the wait.
Dr. Karamlou has been my rheumatologists for more than 4 years. I chose her after I searched and researched for the best rheumatologist for my autoimmune challenge in Orange County. I would recommend her for exceptional medical knowledge with compassion. I am thankful to have her as my doctor!!
It's always a great experience here. They are up to date with labs and info from other physicians. You leave with lab requests and printed reminders of itens discussed and suggestions during your visit and appointments.
I have been seeing Dr. Karamlou for over 15 years now. It takes a special person to be a rheumatologist because day in and day out she is dealing with patients who are in pain and possibly depressed.
