Dr Mathey is very pleasant and compassionate but has poor judgement following up from previous MDs with regard to medication need/ dosages and diagnosis
Dr Mathey is very knowledgeable and takes her time explaining everything.She is also patient and kind
My husband had an emergency appendectomy after rupturing on a Saturday night. He was kind, caring. Excellent bedside manners. Provided answers to all our questions. I cannot say how pleased we were with his care.
He is a great listener, educator, and good bedside manner. He answered my multitude of questions without hesitation.
Dr. Murphy performed a partial removal of my dad's pancreas. My dad asked about possible complications as he had heard having any part of your pancreas removed could lead to other concerns. Dr. Murphy explained to my dad that the part of the pancreas that was being removed from my dad was not involved with insulin production or control. Great experience, I was a new patient. Dr Mathey was super friendly and thorough. She was probably the most friendly doctor I've ever been to. She smiled the entire time.
I just read these past 2 reviews and I am surprised. I have always found Dr. Mathey to be attentive and informative.
Rude. Rude. Rude. No, I would not recommend to family and/or friends. She is always condescending and could not care less about the patient she is working with. I guess there is a reason she is always free to cover everyone else’s patients.
I recently underwent gastroesophageal surgery to prevent exacerbation of my GERD condition. Dr. Murphy and his staff are very efficient and welcoming. He has excellent bedside manner and he shows that he genuinely cares about his patient. I would use him again if I have to.
