I recently had surgery with Dr. Hanaway and felt complete confidence that I was in good hands. She answered all my questions and was very available post surgery, calling me herself several times in the following days to check up. My husband, who had more interaction with her during the surgery, felt very satisfied with how she communicated with him. She explained thoroughly when the surgical approach had to be modified during the procedure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Hanaway to anyone.
One of the best specialists I have ever seen - without question. Dr. Hanaway is an excellent doctor who takes time to explain the symptoms one has, possible explanations for it, and related treatments. Unlike most specialists, she is not patronizing and demonstrate both respect and care for her patients. Her staff are equally welcoming. I cannot recommend her highly enough, though it would be good if her office updated the office phone number.
