Kate has been great from the start after another doctor recommended me to her. She is very thorough in exploring different treatment options, actively listens and is very pleasant during consults. She has my joints feeling much better. For that alone, I am very grateful. I would strongly recommend her, as she is not only an experienced rheumatologist, but is very professional and thorough in her approach. Reception staff have also been good to deal with.

Excellent care! I was told for many years my pain is in my head. Within a few visits I was given Diagnosis, and a plan for improvement with meds. Now a few years on, I’m not only moving better, my pain has significantly decreased. Not been in so much pain, I’m happier, healthier, I’m able to exercise, and I’m a better mum. According to my child I’m not a grumpy mum anymore. After years of not being able to work, I’m working again too. I have a life because of Kate!

Whilst Dr Kate Franklyn is a quality rheumatologist, the practice and communication style needs serious improvement. I've had issues with delayed scripts, wrong scripts, poor time-management and communication delays (or nothing at all). For $720 an hour, it's pretty ridiculous. But due to the stupid system and lack of regulation of prices, Doctors (not just Kate) can charge whatever they want, putting low-income people through more stress of which they don't need.
