Coarctation of the aorta of my son wasn’t caught during my 21 week ultrasound. We were airlifted to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami to have surgery on my 2 month old son. I am not trying to be mean, I understand everyone makes mistakes and not everything is detected but always get a second opinion. I don’t want any parent to have to go through this type of suffering.
