Dr. Machnau is terrific. She's knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and informative. I know I'm in good hands whenever I see her.
I don't review often but I noticed the negative review and thought I share my experience. I've had some negative experiences with other dermatologists and my experience with Dr Machnau has been quite positive. I've seen her maybe six times and found her to be reasonably prompt, pleasant and informative. Much better than my experience with others.
Dr. Machnau is wonderful! She's so down to earth and friendly that when she walks in it takes me a minute to remember she's the doctor! Appointments are on time - and if she's delayed even by 10 minutes because of some difficulty with another patients procedure she's apologizing. She's efficient but you don't feel rushed and she always emphasized a few helpful points to keep in mind - whether it's something general about moles or about a specific mark she wants you to be aware of. Dr. Machnau was rude, dismissive, and inattentive. She would not let me finish a sentence. Barely looked at my rash. Spent less than 2 minutes with me. Had 1 foot out the door while I was asking for clarification on something she recommended. If this was my first time at the practice I would not go back.
