Dr Wade was difficult to talk to and ended up admonishing me because I had had a hysterectomy in my 40s. I am now in my 60s. She reluctantly did a special smear test charged me more than what the original consult fee was. I had rung up and asked because of my low budget. She then gave me a script for oestrogen saying bleeding after a hysterectomy is normal but this will settle it down. It didn't and I still have the problem
In response to Karen’s reply. Karen, I actually find this extremely sad because you performed surgery on me a number of years ago. And the disappointment continues……
I’ve seen some bad reviews for Karen and wanted to make sure I added my 5 star review. Karen is lovely & very knowledgeable. I first saw her in Lara, she gave me my diagnosis and discussed my options including a mirena, which I since chose to have. She talked me through the whole procedure as it was getting done and made me feel very comfortable in a not so comfortable position! The insertion wasn’t painful for me at all and the way Karen handles the situation definitely helped that I’m sure. Highly recommend 🌸 Thankyou Sam
