Dr Karen is an incredible obstetrician. I have recently had my second daughter and cannot thank her or recommend her enough! She is very much an advocate for you; she is personable, friendly, has a great sense of humour and is a wealth of knowledge. I felt calm and safe throughout both pregnancies and births knowing she was my Doctor. If we do decide on baby number three, we will without a doubt be choosing her as our obstetrician again. While obviously knowledgeable and experienced, Dr Chandler often appeared to be purely 'clinically' interested in her patients' well-being and care, while frequently coming across as abrasive, abrupt and somewhat inconsiderate to her patients' needs. In this respect, and based upon my own experience, Dr Chandler routinely appears to lack that 'bed-side manner' which typically may separate the 'awesome' Doctor, from someone with the degree but no 'people skills'. I would highly recommend Dr. Chandler. She was my obstetrician and oversaw my entire pregnancy and birth. She was thorough, knowledgable and listened to my concerns. She has excellent skills in delivering babies and helped to make the delivery of my baby girl safe and uncomplicated. She made the entire process easy and will always be there when needed.
