Always accommodating with appointments and very knowledgeable and experienced.
She hasn't provided good care recently even in not returning calls or even answering the phone. She ghosted me during an acute asthma attack. Then i had questions about the billing and the woman i spoke to was rude and unwilling to tell me anything. General rudeness abounds in this environment. I don't know what has changed but I don't recommend getting involved with this Dr.
I started to see Dr Chelliah when I moved here from California. Not only was it easy to get in with her, I do not have to wait 3 months to get an appt. I can get in for a sick visit same day if needed. For a regular appointment it’s usually within a week. She listens to me and I feel like she genuinely cares about my health. Best pcp I’ve ever had.
This doctor says it is not her responsibility to process a referral. That is the entire point of having a primary care doctor. Some of the staff are amazing and others have attitude.
Dr. Kanaka Lakshmy L. Chelliah, MD I highly recommend her! When we first moved here, It was so hard to find a Dr. to get into right away. Luckily, someone recommended her. I’ve been with her ever since. I never have a problem getting in. She doesn’t act like a “Walmart” greeter by trying to get me out right away. I’ve never had to wait for ever either.
