We chose DPD Smiles specifically because they advertise special needs dentistry as a specialty - their website promises sensory considerations, visual aids, modified techniques, comfort items, extra appointment time, and staff trained to work with children with autism. Our 5-year-old son is autistic, and we made that clear when booking. Our experience on July 14 could not have been further from what they advertise.
