I read other reviews so when I say I have left numerous phone messages to please call me, no one ever returns my calls, it's not an uncommon practice. When I walk into the office the 3 to 4 girls are sitting, and chatting away about their personal problems. Finally the reception asks who I am. I called a different GI Doctor and was told I need a "Transfer of Care Letter." OK how can this be accomplished when I can't get anyone on the phone? I will edit my review and say, Dr. Byju saw this and had someone reach out to me to resolve the issue. I know the office staff is out of his control but something needs to be done with the way things are handled. It was very disheartening to know I could be dismissed as a patient over $50, when they have been paid thousands for my Care. Thank you Dr. Byju. I'm pretty upset that I received a letter dismissing me as a patient due to a $57 bill I apparently owe and never paid. This is news to me, I had an endoscopy and follow u... read more

I, like others who complain here, was treated badly by the office staff. The short story is that they will be unkind, inefficient, won't easily return calls, and send you to collections mistakenly over the co-pay they never asked you for. And, they will do so about 45 days after your visit. Then they send you a "You're fired as a patient letter" at the 75-day point from your first visit. Then, when you complain and threaten to contact the authorities, they come up with an alternative excuse for their behavior. They wouldn't ... read more

The staff is rude and will not help you when you call. If you leave a message expect never to have it returned. The most important thing is that if you have an unpaid balance expect it to be sent to collections. During my first visit, and pre-surgery, they did not ask me for a co-pay. Then they sent my $10 balance to collections, instead of a bill to me. I went to reschedule my surgery and the person there said no. I have to first pay the $10. But, I can't pay them, I have to call a collections company and pay the $10 plus a... read more
