I read other reviews so when I say I have left numerous phone messages to please call me, no one ever returns my calls, it's not an uncommon practice. When I walk into the office the 3 to 4 girls are sitting, and chatting away about their personal problems. Finally the reception asks who I am. I called a different GI Doctor and was told I need a "Transfer of Care Letter." OK how can this be accomplished when I can't get anyone on the phone? I will edit my review and say, Dr. Byju saw this and had someone reach out to me to resolve the issue. I know the office staff is out of his control but something needs to be done with the way things are handled. It was very disheartening to know I could be dismissed as a patient over $50, when they have been paid thousands for my Care. Thank you Dr. Byju. I, like others who complain here, was treated badly by the office staff. The short story is that they will be unkind, inefficient, won't easily return calls, and send you to collections mistakenly over the co-pay they never asked you for. And, they will do so about 45 days after your visit. Then they send you a "You're fired as a patient letter" at the 75-day point from your first visit.
