Worst experience I ever had with Dr Rao. She constantly spoke over me as if she was being bothered when I tried to express concerns about the issue. Did not take the time to listen to what I had to say, just interrupted me each time talking about something else. I felt like my feelings and or concerns truly didn’t matter. I explained to her that I had a lot of anxiety about this colonoscopy she wants me to do, she was very aware of my experience I had once before with another doctor. She was also aware that my brother passed of stage four colon cancer and that I was extremely nervous about the whole situation. I made a appointment with Jyoti Rao, M.D. and after being seen by the nurse instead of Jyoti Rao, M.D. seeing me a practitioner seen me! When I made my appointment I specifically ask to be seen by Jyoti Rao, M.D. not a practitioner! That didn't set well with me! So I have decided to find a new Gastroenterologist that will see me and not a practitioner!!
Doctor had poor bedside manner. She did not explain why I needed a colonoscopy. Rude. I hope to never see her again!
Great service staff is wonderful Dr Rao has never steered me wrong. I have been seeing her for many years
