I was diagnosed and treatment was not working. I felt like she became frustrated with me because I was not "getting better". She told me it was unusual for the medicine to not work but offered no additional treatment except to schedule a test over a month and a half out. I'm in the process of finding another neurologist to help me.

I've been going to Dr. Zaho for years. She worked with me til I got my medications right for my headaches. She has listened to me , very ,very helpful.

I saw Dr. Zhao for chronic migraines. She was more than happy to try the big expensive treatments, nerve blocks and Botox, but when asked about something different for the nausea she said I would have to see a gastroenterologist. She treated me like I was a drug seeker because I've seen multiple neurologists in the last 10 years... we are military, moving every 2 years is a fact of life. She doesn't even ask any questions or do an exam, just gives the Botox and sends you on your way.

If you are looking for a doctor with compassion, don't see Dr. Zhao. I have had severe pain and headaches for two years. After I did not respond to the injections she offered me, she became unhelpful and was pretty much wanting to know why I was still coming in. She refuses to discuss medication options with me and refused treatment because she said it does not fit my diagnosis. Left her office in tears today after she was very condescending toward me.

Horrible! Never asks questions, when she brings in the Boston shots she carries them in her hand into the office and doesn't wear gloves. Seems very unsanitary to me. Never ordered any test for me. My first visit with another Neurologist Had several test ordered or me during my first visit. I never want to go back to Dr Zhao.

Would not recommend her to anyone. Buyer beware because if you select her and are not happy the practice will not let you change doctors. I have been a patient there for 10 years and have had 3 other very good doctors who sadly have left the practice in pursuit of other things. The others always took time to assess my reflexes, strength and progression of the neuropathy. She did absolutely nothing but ask be what she could do for me. She is terrible. Don't go to her.

I was referred to her. She was distant and when explaining to her what i was experiencing she asked me would I be quiet and let her talk. I was shocked in how she addressed me. I explained I'd been prescibed a medicine by another doctor that was for epileptic seizures and I did not take it because i had back pain. She told me she would do the same medicine and if I came there for pain prescriptions she wasnt doing that. She treated me like a addict. i came from work 54yrs old and professional

I have spent years being past from one doctor to another with no relief from my headaches over the past 10 years. Then last July a headache came one that never went away it was so bad I could think. I came to Dr Zhao (she was the 3rd neurologist I have seen and the first one who I felt took me seriously) when I asked not to be put on any addictive drugs she was pleased to work with me. Her treatment plan has worked I have been headache free for 4 weeks now. I would send my child to her if need b

She takes Tricare and she is skilled with Botox for migraine, otherwise I wouldn't be seeing her. She never asks any questions, and doesn't have many answers when I have questions.
