Dr. Golan is a kind person and does her best to be empathetic. I try to give her the benefit of the doubt, but kindness doesn't excuse this mistake. I had two surgeries with her, the second of which was to wash out an infection I got from the first one. We came to the conclusion that the mesh she implanted was the cause of the infection. The second surgery was to entirely explant the mesh. After that, I had a follow up and I was told that if I wanted to pursue fixing the problem with surgery again, to look elsewhere. Dr. Golan is WONDERFUL! What could have been an unpleasant and embarrassing situation was exactly the opposite. She really put me at ease and took care of my problem! Yay!!

My experience with Dr. Golan has been great. I found her to be kind, thoughtful, a good listener and of course a great surgeon! I felt at ease, which is especially important with what can be an uncomfortable area (for me) to talk about!
