The most worst surgeon to go to NEVER use him at all. More concerned about taking your money and leaving the country the next day. My experience was quite severe as he was highly recommended but my experience I’m still suffering and said I can’t help you I saw 4 other surgeons and one found the solution. Julian yu did not give a second MRI which another orthopaedic surgeon did and found out that exactly what was wrong 1 year later. Very disappointed. The reception staff made it impossible to make the operation appointment once Dr Yu gave me the go ahead. It was the worse experience I've had in my life in trying to book the surgery. Terrible unreliable communication contradicting themselves. In the end, I would never trust to go there. I've heard a about the many surgical issues at NBH (sure the media also reported some). I was mucked around for 12 months to get this operation done. Bilateral knee replacement by Dr Julian Yu I had a bilateral total knee replacement on 12 June 2025. Now, 5 months after the surgery, I am a cripple with swollen painful knees, much worse than it was before the surgery. I strongly recommend to think twice before going into the NBH for operation. The amount of pain and suffering you will get through is well above expectations, and the outcome is unpredictable. Do not believe the assurances that everything will be OK- most likely it will not.
