Am a 66 year old with scoliosis, who has tried many things to alleviate the pain, which has been relentless. Saw and still do see a physiotherapist, a massage therapist twice a month, learnt the Schroth exercises.. this past winter, the pain became unbearable, I knew I had to do more research. My daughter Nikki has scoliosis and she wore a brace for 4 years. Her curvature stayed steady and didn't increase despite those being her prime growing years. More importantly, she was hunchback, and her posture was very obvious when she was younger. She had a rib hump of 8 degrees and it improved to 4 degrees. Now, one cannot tell she was hunchback. After receiving a Scoliosis diagnosis for our daughter and being repeatedly told we were still on the waitlist at ACH we did our own research and found Dr Mendes. I will be forever grateful for his support and help. My daughter just completed her bracing protocol and avoided potential surgery. Dr Mendes was so kind and polite and made my daughter feel comfortable at every visit. I highly recommend Dr Mendes.
I came to see Dr. Mendes one month ago for a long standing diagnosis of scoliosis.
