Went twice with my daughter, and both were an awful experience. The doctor has got to be on something the way he jumps around and completely skips over what your explanations. He acts jealous if you go to a specialist for something. Asked for a referral about a month ago but and so soon as we did that he said oh well they can handle your medication then. I want to begin by saying that Dr. Hernandez is an exceptional physician, and I truly appreciate the care he has provided to me. My concern is not with him, but with the way my situation was handled by the office staff. On the morning of my appointment, I called as soon as I realized I would be delayed. I am a registered nurse, and at approximately 6:45 a.m., one of my patients unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest. Dr. Hernandez, Mrs. Sybil, Shirley (at the front desk) and his new nurse Treazure, have been excellent to my brother and I. He goes above and beyond to treat both of us. He takes the time to get to know his patients which is rare. I've dealt with countless doctor's that prefer to get you in and out of the door but this isn't the case with him.
