Updated Review: Dr Julia Lowe did seem like a nice lady but I’m leaving this review to help others from the same mistake I did. She will only help you if you have hormone issues that show up in bloods which we know doesn’t always happen. I was told all my results are normal but insulin was elevated & the HOMA-IR score I got was 4.8 which indicated significant insulin resistance. Booked appointment, got a referral from my doctor, they waited 2 weeks to call me and tell me they aren't accepting new patients. Terrible customer care. Now I have start all over again, meanwhile I'm NOT being treated. I guess this doctor doesn't give a darn about people.
The first review is inaccurate. The receptionists and all staff are fantastic. And Julia Lowe is a great endocrinologist - I am lucky to have found her.
Very arrogant on the phone. Demonstrates the level of service one can expect in person. Dr Lowe is very good, support staff need to learn simple etiquette when dealing with humans. Simple respect on the phone please - it costs nothing.
I phoned the office of Dr Julie Lowe and found staff to be so caring and helpful. When I asked the Receptionist if Dr Lowe with her experience in Endocrinology would be able to assist in getting to the bottom of my hormone imbalance, she reassured me that if it involves the endocrine system than yes. Looking forward to my appointment. I hope to get in earlier on cancellation if possible and I'm 100% sure they will try there hardest. Thank you Byrony for your care and assistance. 💝
