She was my psychiatrist twice in Graylands when I was in my late teens. She was the best psychiatrist in the public hospital system. I find psychiatrists in general a bit hard to communicate with due to the power dynamic, and this was also the case with Dr Charkey Papp, however she made up for it in other areas. Saw this doctor from when I was 18 until I was 20 and she was SO unprofessional! She gave me so many different medications that did nothing but make me feel unwell, she misdiagnosed me multiple times, she “diagnosed” me with autism (said she did but she only wrote it down that I have autism, and still charged me for an autism diagnosis) and gave me a terrible distrust of doctors and medication. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Julia is one of the most intelligent, perceptive and skilled Specialists I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is an intuitive, thoughtful and considerate professional and shows genuine concern for your wellbeing. 5 Stars is not enough.

I saw Julia as a teenager and hoped to finally get help from a pyschiatrist, only for her to diminish and invalidate all of my trauma and my struggle with coping . Most horrible psychiatrist i have ever met in my life saw her when i was 15, i am 22 now and still have nightmares about seeing her. She breached confidentiality as well!! avoid at all costs
