***UPDATE 2/19/24 *** Sadly, Dr. Alcantar will no longer be my HEM/ONC of choice. What a SHARP decline from the physician I first saw two years ago. I’m not sure What has happened with him lately. My last visit was terrible. He spent probably 8 to 10 minutes with me in the doctors office, after I spent 54 minutes sitting inside of the room, without anyone coming to let me know that he was running 54 minutes behind. This last review just can't be the same guy. My heart broke to see that, because anyone needing an amazingly kind doctor in Hematology and Oncology, would be so, so grateful to find this man. I am posting this under my grandfather, Ed P. who is his patient,. I take hm in for his appointments, and I can't express enough how frustrated I've become medical care, enough that I REALLY appreciate a doctor that is so patient and kind/ We all feel completely safe in his hands, as he explains everything, tests results, what he hopes ... read more
Worst concultation everz he does not even speak English or show any concerns toward his patients, and the staff are as terrible.
