Joyce wrongly diagnosed me. She told me I didn’t have one disorder and that I had another. Then prescribed me medicine from that is not commonly used anymore. You would be better of to pay someone than waste time and resources on this women.
Horrendous experience, went because of full bulk billing but trust me shes not worth it and i honestly dont think she should be practicing at this point. Immediately out the gate she dismissed my therapist who was attending with me for backup, bellitling her and bluntly calling the system she works under stupid due to her being a counselor instead of a psychologist and i basically had to fight the whole time to make sure she understood that i was coming based on professional opinions due to her seemingly being set on the ide... read more
Very condescending. I had read the reviews and thought - "I'll give her a go, but if she does what people are saying... water off a ducks back". How wrong was I. Dr Joyce said some very insulting things that I still can't shake. For example, she said "You do well for someone with your level of IQ". She doesn't know me, at all... or my IQ. She obviously doesn't believe in ADHD and thinks we are all after Ritalin or something. No lady, I'm trying to stay alive and it makes total sense.
