Amazing! Hysterectomy, slight cramp in recovery. Went away before I left. Needed no pain medication and the whole team at UPMC were wonderful. Dr Kesterson has a gift from God. I highly recommend
I saw Dr. Kesterson two years ago at Hershey. I had to have a cyst or tumor taken out. He also repaired scar tissue and repaired an umbilical hernia. The surgery did not go well. I had a adverse reaction to the fentyl and was in recovery all day in and out a few times and then could not wake up so the staff had to call a rapid response. My blood pressure went down to 30mmHg. I ended up in Surgical ICU for 4 days. They had to give me Narcan to wake me up. And after that, they did not give me any pain killers just Tylenol. At ... read more

He is very caring and talks to you and explains to where you understand & answers any questions. Him and his staff is great. I highly recommend Dr Kesterson
He took on my case when another would not. Dr Kesterson was straight up about my situation and agreed to operate. He was one of the most caring physicians I’ve interacted with. I’m sorry to learn he is leaving Hershey and I wish him well!!
