Dr. Hawkins fits the definition of many surgeons. While I believe he is a decent surgeon, he did not listen well to my concerns & was rather dismissive. When I asked him about options, there were none, in spite of various expert articles regarding the need for my surgery. He was not at all concerned about the quality of my life & how the tumor is affecting it. I am now seeking a second opinion.
Dr. Hawkins has been a very attentive and helpful doctor in treating my beast cancer. I have complete confidence in him and I highly recommend him.

I thought Dr Hawkins was one of the most amazing doctors I have ever met. He laid out the specifics of what I had and what I could do about it, giving me options. He was clear, concise and answered all our questions thoroughly.
