AVOID seeing this doctor. I did not feel heard, and wanted to put me on anti-depressant right away. Towards the end of appt, I even conveyed that I did not feel heard. I was shaking by the end. He does not listen, he is not relatable human. If your insurance is in-network, do yourself a favor and wait for the more reputable doctors(scheduling into next year) I will never go back. What an horrible experience. Dr Grube is WHY we have no trust in the healthcare system. Keep searching for someone better. He is not the answer.

Office doesn’t answer the phones ever. Called for a straight week. Doctor says he doesn’t know his rating online is horrible. He needs to reflect on his bed side manner

Joshua Grube is a good physician who provides excellent care for his patients. He listens carefully and communicates clearly; he is a good explainer. When I have needed referrals to specialists, he has provided good advice and assistance. Because he works within the Halifax Health organization, his front-office staff is somewhat bureaucratic and slow in responding, e.g. hard to get someone on the telephone. I have always had a great experience with the staff and Dr grube. I switched primary care doctors because I moved but recently returned to Dr grube even though I have to drive farther. He is a straight shooter and I really like that along with his knowledge and understanding of my issues. He is very thorough and does extensive exams and blood work.
